The Oaks Event Hall & Lounge is the community’s newest family-owned gathering space. With an inviting modern rustic setting, the venue is the perfect spot for any occasion! With the ideas of togetherness, fellowship, and celebration at the forefront of the establishment, The Oaks hopes to provide a place where all feel welcome. The hall is open for weddings, anniversaries, showers, parties of all types, meetings, classes, and events hosted by The Oaks themselves.

Petunia Hospitalities LLC was founded by sibling duo Bobby Bochter & Theresa Magiera in 2022. The company was created with two main goals in mind.
The first was to help revitalize and bring new life to the Conneaut Lake, PA area. Our family has enjoyed the lake for 30+ years and we are also proud to now call it our home. We have seen the potential of the area and all it has to offer, and we hope that we can be a part of that. Through providing people places to stay, eat, drink, and gather in the area, our goal is to show others the beauty of the lake.
The second goal of ours was to find a way to honor our late grandmother, Joan Dunn. Her love for Conneaut Lake transpired through the generations and we will always have the fondest memories of her here with us. We wanted to honor her legacy of bringing her family together, both in places to stay and in a place to gather. With her in mind, we open our arms and doors to all of you and thus consider you all part of our family as well. We hope you enjoy!

Hi friends! I’m Theresa Magiera and I am the Hall Coordinator for The Oaks. I am married to my wonderful husband, Mitchell, and we have two dogs named Jasper & Opal. My family is my everything and everything that is happening at The Oaks could not have been possible without them!
I am a lover of musicals and any type of theater (which probably eventually led me to this business), and I like to think that I am a kid at heart because my husband and I are frequent watchers of movies and tv like Star Wars and Bob’s Burgers. I also am a big fan of Joanna Gaines and I read every issue of Magnolia Journal as it comes out.
Although I am not native to Conneaut Lake, my family has been coming to the lake for more than 30 years. Conneaut has always felt like a home away from home for us, until we decided that we should make it our permanent home! Now my family, my parents, and my brother’s family all live here and you can come see us all at the hall.
I can’t wait to meet all of you and be able to host you all at this hall that we have been working so hard to bring to this amazing community.
